As I write my first newsletter there are so many changes going on in the world today that I feel we should all be looking more closely at these changes.      Our attitude to change is very important and it is vital at this time that we begin to welcome change rather than fear it.

The changes in our world are undoubtedly going to affect everyone and our attitude towards these changes is going to make a great deal of difference to the way in which we cope.     We are hearing and reading so much at the moment about the rise in cost of fuel, both to run our homes and transport and the resultant effect it will have on our overall cost of living.     We are all becoming aware of the rise in the cost of food and the problems this is having on many people.

For a long time we have been hearing that "we are what we eat" but also "we are what we think".    In other words what or how we think affects our lives in a very fundamental way.    Our Spiritualist beliefs affect the way in which we live and the way in which we relate to other people and all life on our planet.

Our belief that we were all created from the one Universal Source, Great Spirit, God or whatever name you wish to call the Source, means that we are now co-creators with that source.    As co-creators we are responsible for what we create in our lives.     Whatever we create has an effect on the rest of life on earth and not just on ourselves.

We are affected by the changes going on around us and individually have to decide on our attitude toward these changes.      As Spiritualists we know that there is a purpose for everything that occurs in life and we have a choice as to how we allow events to change our lives, positively or negatively.

Many more Spiritualists, as well as people with different philosophies, are starting to write books and articles which are being received from the Spirit World to help us understand how to cope with these changes.    There is no doubt that the world we are living in is not a peaceful world at the present time and many of the writings which are circulating are emphasing the fact that we should be seeking peace within ourselves and then sending our peace out into the world.      In the past many people or all religions have prayed for peace to come to our world without realising that we have a vital part to play in this.

From the well known song "Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me" - this sums it up in a nutshell.      We should be concentrating on finding the peace within ourselves first so that we can then pass on that peace to others.    If every Spiritualist could do this it really would begin to make a difference.

As I'm sure you know if you are writing something to be available as a download on the Internet the best method is to create your work in PDF format.    Unfortunately, up to now,  the software needed to convert your work into PDF format has been expensive.     I have recently discovered an extremely cheap and excellent software programme which will convert any document of any length into PDF within seconds.
